At EPACK Prefab, we take immense pride in our commitment to the environment and the conservation of natural and non-renewable resources. As a leading company in the prefab construction industry, we optimize energy efficiency, generate less waste, and provide healthier spaces for occupants compared to conventional buildings.
Our Green Buildings
Our buildings are constructed with 100% recyclable steel, making them not just eco-friendly but also sustainable. The design and construction materials we use significantly reduce or eliminate the negative impact of buildings on the environment and its occupants.
Here are some of the key features of our green buildings
- Recyclability: Our buildings are made from 100% steel, which is recyclable up to 90%.
- Carbon Footprint: We employ energy-efficient methods for prefab building production that help to substantially reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
- Local Climate Consideration: Our buildings are engineered, designed, and conceptualized keeping in mind the local climate and available sources including sun, wind, rain, etc. This ensures optimal utilization of natural resources in the design of the building.
- Natural Ventilation Systems: We use natural ventilation systems in our buildings for proper air changes, keeping the temperature in control and thus providing a healthy & comfortable indoor environment which further requires minimal use of electricity.
- Insulated and Reflective Roof & Wall Systems: Our buildings use insulated and reflective roof & wall systems coated with Galvalume which reduces heat transfer, provides better thermal insulation, and a long-lasting exterior. This also reduces the energy consumption in comparison to conventional buildings.
- Low VOC Paints: We prefer Low VOC (volatile organic compounds) paints for our buildings so that heat transfer is minimum, ensuring a pollution-free environment.
- Water Conservation: Recognizing the substantial water consumption associated with construction, EPACK Prefab is dedicated to minimizing our environmental footprint. On average, the construction of every square meter of wall requires 350 liters of water, contributing to over 10% of total water consumption. To address this challenge, we integrate water-saving technologies and practices into our PEB constructions. By doing so, we significantly reduce water usage, contributing to broader water conservation efforts and reinforcing our commitment to sustainable building practices.
